Kitchen and bathroom tile manufacturer Surface launched its own natural wood collection – 'Wood by Surface' – to hundreds of interior designers, architects and house builders at its Battersea showroom last week.

Marketing director David Kong said the collection – sourced from 100% FSC-approved European White Oak in Mazury, Poland – was developed following feedback from its customers.

Available in 40 colours, grouped into cool, natural and warm shades, it comes in three gradings, three treatments, four surface finishes – to provide high performance, water resistance and stain protection – and a wide range of plank and parquet formats and sizes.

Kong said the launch will allow the company to offer a 'one-stop-shop' for architects and interior designers. “Bringing ceramic, natural stone and wood together has been exciting,” he says. “We've got access to beautiful materials that other businesses can't get.”
