Baumatic has appointed Lanarkshire-based Leaker Direct as its exclusive distributor in Scotland.
The agreement covers all Baumatic’s appliance ranges, including the Premium Line Collection, which is only distributed to kitchen studios.
Kitchen and appliance distributor Leaker Direct has a 55,000sq ft warehouse in Motherwell, and runs its own fleet of vehicles. It also works with a logistics partner to offer a next-day delivery service.
Baumatic marketing director Owain Harrison said: “We are very pleased to be working with Leaker Direct as it has such an incredible foothold in the Scottish specialist kitchens market. We greatly look forward to working with the group and increasing our distribution in Scotland.”
Leaker Direct MD Arthur Leaker added: “Many of our customers are kitchen specialists so we can bring the exclusive Baumatic Premium Line to kitchen studios, while bringing the rest of the brand’s appliance collection to a wider independent retail audience in Scotland.”
