May Design Series is promising to have its 'biggest show yet' when it returns to London on 17th May for its third edition.
With the ‘Curated for Business’ theme, the event will include a new complimentary CPD-accredited seminar and conference programme, as well as the latest British designers and its largest number of international exhibitors yet.
Here's a round-up of some of the exhibitors you'll find in this year's KBB area.
Aran Kitchen
Italian designer Aran Kitchen will be showcasing its kitchen and bedroom ranges at the show. The company, which has worked with high-profile designers including Karim Rashid, counts the kitchen of Tommy Hilfiger’s Miami home and kitchens and bedrooms for 432 Park Avenue, New York City – the tallest residential building in the western hemisphere – among its latest projects.
Leicht
German manufacturer Leicht, which has a showroom in Battersea, will be displaying the new ‘Synthia’ in Havana Oak and ‘Classic FS’ in white. In addition, its pocket doors, which hide cupboards, will be showcased at the event, as well as cookware centres, and the ‘Avance’ and Contino griprail handleless doors.
Doca UK
Kitchen and wardrobe manufacturer Doca UK, which celebrates its 35th birthday this year, is set to bring its Series Stone to the event. Measuring just 5mm in depth and aluminium-backed, the lightweight alternative to common granite and quartz can be used to clad stone to both large and small appliances, create stylish doors and drawers or matching worktops or splashbacks.
British Ceramic Tile Limited
UK tile manufacturer and distributor British Ceramic Tile Limited will showcase its new ‘Parian’ range of porcelain wall and floor tiles at the show, which feature the rich tones of Marsala – this year’s hot colour by Pantone.
Roman
Roman will be exhibiting new launches at the event, including a preview of its brand new Liber8 range of ultra-minimalist frameless designed shower enclosures, including the Liber8 Hinged Door in the stunning brushed nickel finish, and the Liber8 hinged door with two in-line panels and side panel.
RAK Ceramics
To mark its first time as an exhibitor at May Design Series, RAK Ceramics is set to launch a new compact bathroom range and complementary surfaces at the show. The company's Origin 62 range of basins and sanitaryware will be showcased, along with its polished porcelain tile collection, GEMS.
BA Components
Furniture and components manufacturer BA Components is exhibiting at May Design Series, where it will release its custom-made, fitted sliding door solution Glidor. The company celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
Ponte Giulio
European manufacturer Ponte Giulio will be showcasing its wall fixture Winglts, which meets and exceeds ADA guidelines, at the show. The fixture takes less than 15 minutes to install and requires no special tools. In addition, the company's Midioplan bathroom range will be on display, including basins, shower trays and hands-free taps with motion sensors to regulate water temperature.
