A team of staff and customers from Chandlers Building Supplies has raised £1,200 for Ehlers-Danlos Support UK after taking part in the Hastings Half Marathon.

Bathroom contracts manager Paul Hunnisett, whose wife has recently been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome – a genetic disorder in which the structure of connective tissue is abnormal – was joined by Chandlers Lewes branch manager Stuart Campbell, two other colleagues and regular customer Jesse Roberts in the race on 22nd March.

Hunnisett said: “The charity relies on donations, so I would like to say a big thank you to my colleagues for joining me on the run and to everyone who made a donation, especially Chandlers who contributed £500 – it's greatly appreciated.”
